Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from our first call?

I offer a free 15 minute consultation call for interested clients. Email is usually the fastest way to schedule our initial phone appointment. I will call you at the agreed upon time to answer any questions you may have about me and what to expect from therapy. We will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and I will share my appointment availability.

What is the next step after the initial call?

If it feels like a good match and you are ready to schedule an appointment we will set a time and date. I will send you an invitation to my secure client portal to complete paperwork. You will be asked for a credit card to hold your appointment which will not be charged until after we meet. I will send a video link or directions to my office if we are meeting in person.

What should I expect from our first session?

Our first session is an opportunity to see if it feels like a good fit. I will ask some questions and you are welcome to set the pace for what you feel comfortable sharing. It can be helpful to outline your goals together and I can offer ideas and feedback.

What is the cost? How often do we meet?

My fee is $200 per session. My sessions are 50 minutes on a weekly basis.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance at this time. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can provide a monthly statement of services that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
