About Me
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring 25 years of clinical experience. My journey to motherhood has taught me more about myself than any other experience. I feel honored to support women and birthing parents navigate infertility, pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood.
I understand from personal experience how painful it can be to lose a pregnancy. I am dedicated to helping my clients feel less alone. I am passionate about supporting people struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, body image, grief and loss. My orientation is mindfulness-based including tools for managing stress through breath work, guided imagery and somatic awareness. I provide a systems perspective to understand how your family history and relationships can influence your current patterns. I am a compassionate listener, ask good questions and maintain cultural humility.
I support individuals and families in my private practice in the SF Bay Area. Through the North Bay HAND (Helping After Neonatal Death) Chapter, I facilitate free peer-led support groups for bereaved parents experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. As a co-founder of Marin Perinatal Therapy, I am proud to offer support and local resources for maternal mental health.
