I provide support for teens, adults and families. By identifying unhealthy patterns in all areas of your life we can begin to shift and improve your communication. These strategies allow for a greater sense of connection and fulfillment. By creating intentional space to focus on the patterns that aren’t working and build upon your resources and strengths, you will have a greater capacity to focus your energy on your purpose. I support LGBTQIA individuals and families. I welcome clients from all cultural and racial backgrounds.
Individual therapy provides a unique opportunity to deeply explore habits and relationship dynamics. We will address areas that are causing stress, expand insight and create boundaries to allow more balance and joy in your relationships. Navigating major life events and transitions may clarify the need for different types of support from loved ones. In some cases it is beneficial to explore the past as it affects the present. By the end of our work together you will be able to trust yourself to make decisions in your relationships that align with the way you wish to live your life.
Family therapy is a very effective way to initiate change and improve communication. I bring a Structural Family Systems perspective and prefer to work with all of the members of a family together when possible. Every family is unique and I appreciate the chance to build upon strengths and understand challenges. I enjoy working with families going through different developmental stages where they may need additional support including new parents and parents with teenagers. I provide a safe neutral space for blended families to create effective communication systems. I also support families with adult children navigate their changing roles, needs and expectations.
